Continuum Of Care
DFSS is actively involved with Chicago Continuum of Care (CoC) and the CoC's designated Collaborative Applicant, which is currently All Chicago. The CoC Board of Directors is a public-private planning body with representatives from local, state and federal government agencies and a broad base of constituency groups, including persons with lived homelessness experiences. The Board of Directors is the CoC Governing Body and makes policy decisions on funding priorities for HUD McKinney-Vento resources and other resources needed to achieve the goals of Plan 2.0, and monitors the progress of the plan.
