Chicago PrE-Learning
Chicago PrE-Learning is an online education platform for early learners (from birth to age 5) to easily continue their education outside of the classroom and from the comfort of their home.
The purpose of Chicago PrE-Learning is to provide children with a safe and simple way to adjust to distance learning without missing a beat.
During this pandemic, early learners are more dependent on their parents or guardians than usual to learn and develop in a way that prepares them for kindergarten and beyond. We know this is challenging time for parents and educators as well, not just Chicago’s children. On behalf of the City of Chicago, we’re united in helping you get through this time. And before you can best help others, it’s important to help yourself. Which is why we’ve partnered with the Chicago Public Health and Wellness experts to provide families in our communities with the resources they need to help navigate these stressful times.
Even though schools are closed, and a large majority of our child care centers have been operating with reduced capacity, that doesn’t mean your child’s development is put on pause. Kindergarten preparedness is a priority for the City of Chicago, and necessary for a brighter future for all.
