DPD consists of more than 170 staff working within the Commissioner's Office and several bureaus and divisions: Planning & Design, Economic Development, Small Business Development, Finance, Operations, Citywide Systems & Historic Preservation, Communications & Outreach, and Zoning. DPD's Bureau of Operations supports the work of both DPD and the Department of Housing.
