The City of Chicago is committed to making our city a place where diversity and inclusion thrive, and all live free from any form of discrimination. Yet, residential segregation continues to be a concern for the City despite years of efforts to make fair housing a reality in every community. Unfortunately, many real estate agents, landlords, and management companies lack an understanding of the CFHO, and others blatantly continue to discriminate against individuals and families.
