51st/Lake Park TIF
Designation: 2012 Expiration: 2036
The 51st/Lake Park TIF district is intended to strengthen the commercial and residential base of the area by providing local shopping, employment and housing opportunities as part of a coordinated, sustainable and cohesive neighborhood. In targeting 2.25 acres of predominantly vacant land along 51st Street and Lake Park Avenue, the district is also designed to support availability of local goods and services, day care options, infrastructure improvements, and property assembly efforts.
