116th/Avenue O TIF

Designation: 2018     Expiration: 2042

The 116th/Avenue O TIF district includes land generally bounded by 114th Street on the north, 122nd Street on the south, Ewing Avenue on the east, and the Calumet River on the west. The purpose of the 263-acre TIFdistrict is to support redevelopment of underutilized and vacant land for uses that leverage the area’s industrial assets and transportation network.
