Revolution Brewing’s Avondale brewery will undergo a $1.8 million expansion with support from a Cook County Class 6(b) property tax incentive approved by City Council today.

The project at 3340 N. Kedzie Ave will improve space previously occupied by Garrett Popcorn, which Revolution will use to expand its adjacent brewing and tap room operations and add up to five new jobs.

Total tax savings over the 12-year incentive period are estimated at $1.8 million.

The Class 6(b) incentive encourages the redevelopment and rehabilitation of underutilized commercial and industrial properties.
