Leland Avenue Neighborhood Greenway
Leland Avenue Neighborhood Greenway
Overview
CDOT is constructing a Neighborhood Greenway on Leland Avenue between the North Branch of the Chicago River and Clark Street. This will extend the existing Leland Neighborhood Greenway further west from its current western terminus at Clark Street and will create a continuous, low-stress bicycle connection from the Lakefront Trail to the North Shore Channel Trail and North Branch Trail. The 1.5-mile Leland Neighborhood Greenway extension will also connect to other bike lanes, the Lincoln Square and Rockwell commercial corridors, and public transportation.
