North Park Commercial Corridors Study
UPDATED April 25, 2019
In spring 2019, the Department of Planning and Development completed a market study of commercial corridors in the North Park neighborhood, primarily along Foster Avenue, Bryn Mawr Avenue and Kedzie Avenue. The North Park Commercial Corridors Study analyzes existing market conditions in the area to help guide recommendations for land use and retail redevelopment. The study is a reference guide that can be used by local businesses, potential investors and residents. The document includes information on incentives, recommendations for preserving and attracting businesses, and design guidelines to assist property owners in the rehabilitation of existing buildings. The document is available at this link. A community engagement summary is also available for review. |
