A proposed amendment to and expansion of Business Planned Development No. 89 and Lakefront Protection Ordinance application, submitted by Old Town Triangle Partners I LLC, for the property generally located at 1600, 1620, 1609-1641 & 1647 North La Salle Drive; 1601 North Wells Street; and 130 & 200 West North Avenue. The applicant proposes to amend Planned Development No. 89 to establish four subareas and add a 379-foot-tall, mixed-use building with 349 dwelling units and ground-floor retail space to Subarea B. Subarea B improvements will also include 285 accessory vehicle parking spaces and three off-street loading spaces. Existing Subarea A improvements include a 3-story religious assembly building and two one-story retail buildings. Existing subarea C and D improvements include a 3-story commercial building and a 3-story single family home, for which no changes are proposed, respectively. The overall maximum FAR for the planned development will be 5.0. |

95th St. between Halsted St. and Cottage Grove Ave. |
A resolution seeking the adoption of the 95th Street Corridor Plan. The Plan is a collaborative effort led by the Department of Planning and Development and the Chicago Transit Authority to promote equitable Transit-Oriented Development (ETOD) along 95th Street between Halsted Street and Cottage Grove Avenue. The 18-month planning process, initiated in 2023, included a Health and Racial Equity Impact Assessment (HREIA) which used a community-driven approach to establish goals and strategies to guide future growth. Draft recommendations aim to improve multi-modal transportation, optimize land use for local businesses and affordable housing, and drive economic development along the 95th Street Corridor. |

A courtesy presentation of a proposed site plan review, submitted by the University of Chicago, for further development within Institutional Planned Development No. 43, generally located at 5600 S. Ellis Avenue. The applicant proposes to construct a New Engineering and Science Building in Sub-Area B with a height below the permitted maximum of 200 feet for Sub-Area B. No changes to the existing FAR for any campus Sub-Areas within the Planned Development boundaries are proposed. |
