An informational presentation of the 95th Street Corridor Plan. The Plan is a collaborative effort led by the Department of Planning and Development and the Chicago Transit Authority to promote equitable Transit-Oriented Development (ETOD) along 95th Street between Halsted Street and Cottage Grove Avenue. The 18-month planning process, initiated in 2023, included a Health and Racial Equity Impact Assessment (HREIA) which used a community-driven approach to establish goals and strategies to guide future growth. Draft recommendations aim to improve multi-modal transportation, optimize land use for local businesses and affordable housing, and drive economic development along the 95th Street Corridor. The draft of the plan is available online at Chicago.gov/95th for public comment.
