Resources for Businesses, Developers, or Investors
Chicago is open for business.
INVEST South/West is not just about City resources and targeted public investment. It also depends on the partnership of businesses, developers and investors.
The City is committed to these partnerships, and utilizes a number of tools and resources for this work. Chicago's South and West side neighborhoods are rich with assets: an abundance of City-owned land, strong community organizations, access to transportation, proximity to downtown and the airports, and of course, the vibrancy of neighborhood cultures.
If you are interested in working with the City in INVEST South/West neighborhoods or have questions about any of the below resources, please contact the Department of Planning and Development (DPD) at DPD@cityofchicago.org.
- Tax Increment Financing (TIF)
- Neighborhood Opportunity Fund (NOF)
- Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF)
