The Office of Equity and Racial Justice (OERJ) and Chicago United for Equity (CUE) launched a Co-Governance Steering Committee of cross-sectored individuals who will guide the City of Chicago's co-governance framework. This entails creating a shared definition, values, and principles and identifying opportunities to model this definition in key government-community partnerships.  

OERJ, CUE, and members of the Equity Advisory Council worked diligently to select the final members. Priority was focused on ensuring representation from across the city with members of all walks of life, emphasizing diversity in geographic location, lived experience, and skillsets.
