Are you interested in learning about Chicago’s new ADU ordinance?

The City is offering two kinds of webinars to help Chicagoans learn about ADUs.

The first are general information for homeowners and other property owners interested in adding an ADU to their properties.

In addition, you can see a slide presentation on the ADU homeowner grant program below:

In addition, you can enroll in a three-part series on zoning and building code requirements for coach houses and conversion units (basement or attic units). Hosted by ULI Chicago and AIA Chicago, these sessions will be taught by Grant Ullrich, Managing Deputy Commissioner, Department of Buildings and Patrick Murphey, Zoning Administrator, City of Chicago. These sessions are free and eligible for AIA continuing education credits. Recordings will be available after the programs.
