CHICAGO – The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) will host a job fair on Thursday, Oct. 20 for a wide range of positions with its retail and restaurant concessions partners at O’Hare International Airport.
“Several of O’Hare’s concessionaires — especially smaller, diverse firms — are facing the same hiring challenges common throughout the hospitality and travel industries,” CDA Commissioner Jamie L. Rhee said. “The CDA continues to work with concessionaires to staff up ahead of a busy holiday season, especially with a slate of new concessions set to open through next year in O’Hare’s newly redeveloped Terminal 5.”
Job seekers will have the chance to meet and speak with hiring managers from airport businesses who will offer on-site interviews and hiring for front-line associates, cooks, wait staff, service providers, massage therapists, nail technicians, managers, and other support positions.
The job fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Terminal 2 Baggage Claim area on the Lower Level. Job seekers can schedule interviews in advance online and walk-ins will also be welcome. Attendees should bring two forms of valid, government-issued identification.
