The Program Director – Cultural Affairs, Partnerships and Development position will plan and implement strategies to secure funding (grants, sponsorships, fundraising) via corporate, foundation, state, federal, and private donations in support of the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events initiatives, programs, festivals, and events.

 

Cultural Affairs Coordinator II (Job Number: 394893-1)

The Cultural Affairs Coordinator II position in the Operations Division, Permits of DCASE will serve as an active liaison between event organizers and City agencies to coordinate and secure Special Event Permits required for hosting outdoor events in the City of Chicago, with a focus on community stakeholders for private athletic events requesting to use the public way. The position will work with organizers and City agencies to review permit applications for street closures, alcohol sales, food sales, merchandise sales, large stages, large tents, etc.
