Starting Monday, March 24, the Loop Link bike lane on Washington Street between Wells Street and LaSalle Street will be closed for approximately 12-16 weeks to facilitate a ComEd Vault Roof Replacement project at 155 W. Washington.

Bike lane detour – Cyclists will be rerouted to share the existing bus lane for the this block and can transition back to the protected bike lane just east of the LaSalle intersection. There will be no impact to pedestrians or vehicular traffic during regular work hours.

Full Weekend Closures to Vehicular Traffic – On select weekends, Washington Street between Wells and LaSalle will be fully closed to vehicular traffic to accommodate crane operations. During these closures, cyclists will be rerouted to the north curb lane of Washington. Weekend closures are expected to take place on:

• March 29–30
• April 5–6
• April 12–13
• April 19
