Description: New General Order; provides guidance to CPD members on the CCPSA Ordinance and how CPD interacts with the Commission and District Councils; establishes processes for collaboration between CPD and CCPSA; introduces a form for CPD to document, track, and transmit record requests from CCPSA.

Policymaking Timeline: 

• December 27, 2024: CPD submitted a revised versions of G01-11 (and supplemental G01-11-01) to CCPSA for review and posting.
• December 4, 2024: CCPSA Policy Working Group Commissioners Terry and Wortham met with CPD to discuss policy feedback and suggested edits.
• December 2, 2024: CCPSA held a virtual Lunch and Learn for District Council members to receive updates on the policy and request additional feedback.
• November 12, 2024: CPD submitted a revised version of G01-11 to CCPSA.
• October 1, 2024: CPD Policy Working Group Commissioners met with CPD to discuss potential changes to the draft order.
• September 28, 2024 : CPD Policy Working Group met with District Councilors at their Quarterly meeting to provide an overview of the policy and receive input and feedback.
• September 17, 2024: CPD submitted a revised version of G01-11 to CCPSA.
• July 30, 2024: CPD Policy Working Group Commissioners met with CPD to discuss potential changes to the draft order.
• July 1, 2024: CPD responded in writing to the Commission’s comments and suggestions. 
• June 17, 2024: The Commission submitted comments and suggestions to CPD. 
• June 12, 2024: The Commission submitted a memorandum to CPD providing a summary of feedback on G01-11 from District Councilors with a request for responses to Councilor interests. 
• May 28, 2024: CCPSA held webinar to update District Councilors and receive feedback on the policy.
• May 24, 2024: CCPSA held webinar to update District Councilors and receive feedback on the policy.
• April 18, 2024: CPD proposed new order on April 18, 2024
