On Thursday, March 28th at 6:00 pm a public meeting will be held ahead of the planned demolition of an old industrial complex at 38th and South Ashland Avenue.  The ninety minute meeting will be held in the McKinley Park Field House located at 2210 West Pershing Road, Chicago, IL 60609.

The demolition of the buildings at 3809-25 and 3827-39 South Ashland Avenue is scheduled to last four months.  Chicago Department of Buildings (DOB) and Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) inspectors will be on-site before, during and after the demolition process.  DOB and CDPH inspectors have the authority to stop any work or correct any issues as needed.
