This dashboard displays data on internet adoption and device ownership in Chicago, by Community Area. The source for this data is 2017-2021 5-Year Estimates from the American Community Survey (ACS). The ACS estimates are updated yearly.

Hover over or click on a Community Area on the map to view details such as number of households, demographic breakdown, percent of households with internet at home, and more. You can also click on the dropdown beneath “Select by Community Area” to select a Community Area. To view more information, click on "Details.” Click on the “i” for additional instructions.
