ChiStreetWork is a web-based tool that leverages the Google Maps interface to track projects in the City and provide residents with information about various construction activities and street impacts throughout the City. These activities include construction projects and special events that will may require full or partial road closures.

OEMC Text and Email Alerts

The Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC) issues several alerts and notifications to provide residents with direct emergency and non-emergency information. Text alerts are sent to your phone regarding incidents/conditions such as severe weather emergencies, hazardous materials, traffic impacts, etc. Residents are encouraged to subscribe to receive alerts sent directly to mobile phones or email accounts to stay informed.
