Removal of old CTA station at Randolph St. and Wabash Ave. requires closure of Intersection

The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) announced the closure of Randolph Street between Michigan Ave. and State St. from 9:00 p.m. Friday, October 27 through 5:00 a.m. Monday, October 30. Local access to Garland and Benton Courts will available from Michigan Ave. and Lake St. respectively.
During this project, motorists on Michigan Ave. should use Madison St. or Wacker Dr. to travel west through the Loop and turn on State St. to reach Randolph where they can continue their westward travel.
The work also requires the CTA to make service changes during the weekend. Beginning 10 p.m. Friday, October 27 through 5 a.m. Monday, October 30, portions of the Loop Elevated tracks along Lake St. and Wabash Ave. will be closed to allow crews to deconstruct the former Randolph/Wabash Loop Elevated station.
