City of Chicago Announces Request for Proposals for Green House Gas Emissions Inventory
On Monday, April 25, 2016, the City of Chicago issued a request for proposals (RFP) to develop a citywide (GHG) emissions inventory for January through December, 2015 and to analyze Chicago GHG emission sources, trends, and potential policy implications.
Tracking and reducing GHG emissions is a core component of the City of Chicago’s environmental and sustainability strategy, as articulated in the Chicago Climate Action Plan and the Sustainable Chicago Action Agenda.
The City encourages all interested parties to submit proposals by Friday, May 13, 2016 at 12:00 PM Central Time.
The anticipated timeline for this RFP and resulting project follows below:
- RFP Release: April 25, 2016
- Q&A Call (optional): April 29, 2016 (12:00pm CDT)
- Proposal Deadline: May 13, 2016 (12:00pm CDT)
- Consultant Selected (target): May 27, 2016
- Project Kickoff (target): June 6, 2016
- Project Completion (target): August 31, 2016
