As part of the Chicago Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) ongoing project on the DuSable Lake Shore Drive Bridge and viaduct network, upper level DLSD between Monroe Street and Ontario Street will have one lane closed in the northbound and southbound directions beginning Monday, October 9 for the duration of the project. There will be additional lane closures during off-peak hours. 

The project includes the removal and replacement of structural steel hanger assemblies and expansion joints essential for the bridge’s preservation. The project is expected to last until Summer 2024.

Lower level DLSD between Randolph Street and Grand Avenue will continue to be reduced to two lanes in each direction.
