Official Changes to Side Walk Café Permit Term

August 31, 2018

As part of Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s Small Business Plan, the Sidewalk Café (SWC) permit season has been expanded. Now, restaurant operators will have the option of providing sidewalk café dining year-round, when the weather permits, replacing the seasonal term of March 1st – December 1st.
