Making Green Health Neighborhoods a Reality 

The City of Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) and Department of Planning and Development (DPD) is pleased to submit an application to the U.S. Department of Transportation for Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) funding the Englewood Line Trail. This project seeks to convert a 1.75-mile abandoned railway corridor into a grade-separated bicycle trail in the neighborhood of Englewood, Chicago.
