The debt relief period is April 1, 2025 – June 30, 2025.
Participants must pay the base fine for eligible violations to receive debt relief.
Tickets where a Notice of Final Determination was issued on or before December 31, 2023, except for meter tickets and any violation where the City has filed a case in a court or has initiated administrative proceedings to collect the debt.
Penalties and fees eligible for waiver include but are not limited to late payment penalties, collection costs, returned check fees, default fees, and tow, storage, and boot fees with limited exceptions.
Failure to do so will result in penalties, fees, and costs previously eligible for waiver being once again due in full and added back to your current amount due.
For Example: If you have a ticket where the total amount due is $200 and as part of this program it is reduced to $100, if you only make payments totaling $50 by June 30, 2025 then your balance will be $150 as of July 1, 2025 because you did not pay the ticket in full during the debt relief period.
If your vehicle is impounded you are still eligible for the penalty waiver relief, but the impounded vehicle release fees will not be waived. These fees include boot, tow, storage, tamper, and returned check fees associated with the release of an impounded vehicle.
