Construction and Repair
A City of Chicago business license is required for construction and repair-related activities
A City of Chicago business license for Board-Up Services is required to place boards or other material over any opening in a building or other structure in order to protect the interior from damage or unauthorized entry.
A City of Chicago business license for Home Repair is required to fix, replace, alter, convert, modernize, improve or make an addition to any property primarily designed or used as a residence. A City of Chicago business license for Residential Real Estate Developer is required to acquire vacant land and develop it with a new residential building, or acquire a building and make significant renovations or changes to it.
