Ann McNeill is an influential figure in the construction industry, currently serving as the President and CEO of MCO Construction, one of South Florida's premier African American female-owned construction companies. Since 1980, MCO Construction remains a leading black-owned firm in the State of Florida, specializing in construction management and project controls. Ann's visionary leadership has guided the company to work on numerous iconic projects in South Florida, including the Miami Airlines Arena, Marlins Ballpark, Miami International Airport, Miami Science Museum, Miami Children’s Courthouse, Riviera Palm Beach Police Station, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Hartsfield Jackson Airport in Atlanta, City of Riviera Beach Fire Station, and City of West Palm Beach Police Station.
Ann has also found tremendous success as a speaker, coach, and author is deeply rooted in her ability to create a blueprint for success, assembling the essential materials to build a strong foundation for individuals to leverage their strengths. Recognizing the scarcity of women in the construction industry, especially female licensed general contractors, Ann was driven to create a network that would empower women in construction. Consequently, she founded The National Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC), dedicated to building a pipeline for black women in both the public and private sectors, supporting black women entrepreneurs, and inspiring young women to explore STEM fields, with a focus on the construction industry.
Under Ann's guidance, NABWIC has evolved into a dynamic network of professional women in the construction industry who mentor each other and facilitate the transformation of contacts into contracts, epitomized by the "Billion Dollar Luncheon" held monthly. Ann's accomplishments have earned her recognition and media coverage, with features in Black Enterprise Magazine, USA Today, and ABC's World News. Furthermore, her commitment to excellence extends to her role on the Better Investing National Board.
Ann also presides over MCO Consulting, Inc., a consulting company that specializes in outreach, monitoring, and compliance for private sector firms involved in public sector projects. Throughout her illustrious career, Ann has garnered numerous awards and honors, not only for her contributions to the construction industry but also for her dedication to community service. She serves as the President and Founder of the International Mastermind Assoc., Inc. and is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the West Palm Beach Rotary.
