Fireside chat with Mayor Johnson open to the public after budget release in the fall.
Purpose:

Provide education on the City of Chicago budget, budgeting process, and community engagement process for the budget.

Provide education and information on prioritized programs and services across budget topic area.

Share the process and results of Phase 1 and Phase 2.

Provide space for deeper and more meaningful conversations prioritized programs and services across budget topic areas.

Provide space for residents to share ideas, comments, and feedback about the City of Chicago’s budget.

Provide the opportunity for resident feedback to inform budget decisions before the Mayor’s budget is released.
Engagement Activities:

Conduct 4 roundtable events (3 open to the public and 1 focused youth) with topical discussions.
