We can all play a role to make Chicago the most accessible city in the world.

Are you interested in increasing your awareness of disability and accessibility issues in the workplace while volunteering your time? Do you want to provide valuable guidance and input around an individual's career development? Chicago-area professionals are invited to serve as Mentors for job seekers working with the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities Career Center

The MOPD's Mentorship Program is a 6-month commitment with monthly virtual meetings with their mentees, bookended by MOPD's flagship Disability Awareness Training and culminating in an in-person networking event. Since job seekers come to the Career Center with a broad array of career interests and goals, members of all professions and careers are welcome.

If you are interested in serving as a mentor, please fill out this form: MOPD Career Center Mentorship Program Interest Form. We will contact you shortly with additional details.
