CHICAGO – Mayor Brandon Johnson issued a statement today on Bally Corporation's announcement of securing financing for Chicago's permanent casino through a partnership with Gaming & Leisure Properties.

“The City is pleased with this development concerning the financing and construction of Bally's Permanent Chicago Casino,” said Mayor Johnson. “We look forward to reviewing the updated plans and proceeding through the review process with the Department of Planning and Development."
