“On Friday, June 3, Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot will be traveling to Reno, NV, to attend the 90^th U.S. Conference of Mayors. Mayor Lightfoot will address the conference, participate in a meeting of the Committee on Criminal and Social Justice, a panel on increasing broadband access, and join the opening press conference. Vice-President Kamala Harris will also be in attendance and will address the nation's mayors, kicking off the first day of the Conference's Annual Meeting, joined by other officials from the Biden-Harris Administration. Mayors are set to discuss a wide range of topics, including public safety, the implementation of city resources included in the American Rescue Plan Act and the Infrastructure and Investment Jobs Act, climate change, affordable housing, and economic mobility, among others. Sessions will be live-streamed on Facebook,  Twitter, and YouTube. Mayor Lightfoot will be returning to Chicago on Saturday, June 4.”
