I had the honor of serving alongside John Dingell in Congress and working with him from the Obama and Clinton White Houses. He never forgot where he came from, and always knew who he was there to speak for. John Dingell was the author of national health care, and through his tireless efforts he was able to see it become a reality. Our country owes him a deep debt of gratitude for a lifetime of selfless service.
