For over three decades, Commander Ervin was a fixture in the Harrison District and a pioneer for community policing. His service to our city is measured by the countless number of colleagues and community members he impacted, inspired and unified. It is that same spirit of service and selflessness he instilled in his son, Alderman Jason Ervin.
