The American Planning Association (APA) announced today that as part of its Great Places in America program, Chicago’s Millennium Park is one of the country's 15 Great Places for 2015.

“It’s no surprise that one of Chicago’s great parks is one of America’s greatest public spaces. From a day out with the family to a night out at the theater and everything in between, Millennium Park offers what no other park in the nation can. This special recognition from the American Planning Association not only places Millennium Park and the City of Chicago in the national spotlight but highlights our efforts to create great public spaces for all Chicagoans.”
