Pursuant to its powers and duties, the Board of Ethics is pleased to make public our current draft of proposed amendments to the City’s Governmental Ethics Ordinance. We encourage members of the public, media, and good government groups to review them and comment on them—please email comments to our Executive Director, Steve Berlin, at steve.berlin@cityofchicago.org by the close of business on Friday, September 8, 2023.  The Board meets next on Monday, September 11, and will discuss public comments, and then vote on a final package of amendments to be submitted to the Mayor and the full City Council for their consideration.
