Pursuant to §§2-156-465(b)(3) and -505 of the Governmental Ethics Ordinance, the Executive Director determined that the following registered lobbyists violated their lobbyist filing requirements, as set forth in §§2-156-230, -245, -250, -270 and -505, and, after each properly filed on the date noted, fined them as shown:

Registration violations determined Feb. 3, 2016.  Fine, if any:

(i) Edward Acevedo, filed February 8, 2016 $2,000 (paid)

(ii) Jose Lagoa, filed February 10, 2016 $4,000; and

(iii) R. Delacy Peters, filed February 5, 2016 $1,000.

Registration violations determined Feb. 7, 2017.   Fine, if any:

As provided in §2-156-465(b)(3), lobbyists determined to have failed to register, re-register, file activity reports or terminate their registrations as provided in the Ordinance shall be fined $1,000 per day for each such violation, while it continues.

LOBBYIST TRAINING

Pursuant to §§2-156-465 (b)(i) and -505 of the Governmental Ethics Ordinance, the Executive Director determined that the following registered lobbyists violated lobbyist training requirements, as set forth in §§2-156-146 and -505, and, after each properly trained on the date noted, fined them as shown:

 As provided in §2-156-465 (b)(i), lobbyists determined to have failed to train as provided in the ordinance shall be fined between $200- $750 per day for each such violation, while it continues.
