Seeking an expanded global presence, Hillshire Brands’ $30 million rehabilitation of a vacant West Loop commercial building enabled the relocation of 500 jobs and its corporate headquarters from the western suburbs. The 220,000-square-foot space could accommodate an additional 150 new hires over the next few years.
