With a twist towards the absurd and theatrical, Patricia isolates characters and spaces to suggest drama while encouraging ambiguity. She creates images in sculpture and paintings with situations of seeming opposition and paradoxes: silence and movement, private and public language, intimacy and banality, creating tension and poetic construction. She is intrigued with the poetics hidden in the mundane and everyday.
