Thank you for your interest in the Chicago Cultural Center, a stunning gem located in the heart of Downtown Chicago.

If you are planning a photography shoot in the space for a wedding, engagement, Sweet 16, Quinceanera, Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah, etc., please read this document carefully.

1. Only self-contained photo shoots are allowed (handheld cameras and equipment). No tripods, lighting gear, or any other items that may disrupt the space for use by other visitors may be used.

2. The building is open to the public daily from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. We recommend taking pictures between 10-11 a.m. or 4-5 p.m.

3. Please refrain from wearing clothing that sheds glitter, beads, feathers, etc. If an outfit is leaving debris, you will be asked to leave the building.

4. You must ensure that stairways, hallways, and walkways are fully accessible and usable to the public. Blocking them will result in being asked to end the photoshoot.

5. NO areas of the building (including restrooms) may be used for changing clothing or doing hair/makeup.

6. Please do not take photos in spaces where events are taking place, due to photo exclusivity for paying clients.

7. If a photography session is deemed disruptive, security staff will ask participants to leave.

8. You do not need a permit for self-contained small photoshoots; however, photoshoots for commercial/promotional purposes require fees and approved scheduling.
