Each quarter, the Council Office of Financial Analysis (COFA) reviews the City of Chicago’s Corporate Fund revenue performance based on data from the Office of Budget and Management’s Monthly Revenue Reports. These analyses compare year-to-date collections to budgeted projections, highlight key drivers behind surpluses or shortfalls, and provide context for trends in local, state, and non-tax revenues.
