Roseland Health Hub Expansion

The Roseland East 115th Street Health Hub will hold an immunization clinic onsite for neighborhood residents this Friday, January 3rd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Located at 200 East 115th Street, the Hub recently added mental health services to the sexual health services currently offered to Chicago's Roseland community. Mental Health Services will focus on addressing emotional, traumatic, and behavioral challenges, expanding access to high-quality care and serving as a trusted resource for residents. This expansion reflects CDPH's continued commitment to fostering wellness and supporting the needs of Chicago's neighborhoods.

Respiratory Virus Dashboards

CDPH is reminding everyone 6 months and older to get their annual flu shot and the updated 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine to stay healthy during the coldest months of the year. Cases of influenza and RSV are currently elevated in Chicago - For more information and updated data, visit the CDPH respiratory virus dashboard on our website.

CDPH also recently launched two new dashboards to share data on the number of Chicagoans who received their vaccines to date. The dashboards have information about COVID-19 and flu vaccine coverage by age, race/ethnicity, community area, and zip code.

It's not too late to get vaccinated! If you have health insurance, visit an in-network pharmacy. Those without health insurance can visit one of three CDPH immunization clinics (Uptown, Greater Lawn of Pilsen South Ashland) or check our calendar of vaccine events.

Healthy Chicago Podcast

The South Ashland Pilsen Mental Health Clinic officially opened its doors this past October, offering FREE mental health services to anyone in need of support.

In the latest episode of the Spanish-language Healthy Chicago podcast, Dr. Francisco Rodríguez, Director of CDPH Mental Health Clinics, shares details about the types of therapies available, how to access them, and the importance of having Spanish-speaking staff to address the specific needs of the community.

CDPH data shows that Latinx Chicagoans report higher rates of serious mental illness compared to white and Black residents. If you or someone you know needs these services, the Pilsen clinic and the five other locations in the city are here to help, at no cost.
