Pet Vaccine Clinic Guidelines:
Available to the first 100 dogs only. Only TWO (2) dogs per household are allowed at each clinic.
- For Your Dog's Safety: To ensure a smooth visit for all our furry friends, we require a capable adult (18+) to handle each animal.
- Streamlined Check-In: To avoid unnecessary crowding, we'll start distributing numbers at 9:30 am. Arriving earlier than 8 am might limit access to the waiting area.
- Serving Our Community: This program is open to Cook County residents 18 and over with a valid ID.
- Keeping Everyone Healthy: To protect the well-being of all animals, we can't service sick pets (including dogs showing respiratory issues).
- Puppy Love with Age Limits: For their safety and proper vaccinations, only dogs 8 weeks or older can participate.
- Prepare for Fun (with a bit of a wait): We recommend bringing a chair, water, and dressing for the weather (it's a busy day!).
- Space for Everyone: To keep all our furry friends comfortable, please avoid petting other animals and maintain a 6-foot distance with your pup.
- Leash and Carrier Safety: For everyone's peace of mind, please bring a secure leash (no longer than 6ft) or a carrier. Retractable leashes are not permitted.
- Helping Your Dog Feel Safe: If your dog needs a muzzle during vaccinations or near other animals, please bring your own. We want your pup to feel comfortable throughout the visit.
- Working Together for a Smooth Visit: We reserve the right to refuse service for the safety and well-being of all animals and staff.
- What we offer: Rabies vaccines, DA2PP Vaccines and microchips for dogs. Unfortunately, we are unable to accomodate cats at this time. Please visit the Cook County website for other free or low cost vaccine clinics that may be able to accomodate cats.
Be sure to check back for the latest schedule, as dates, times, and locations may be adjusted to ensure everyone's safety.
