Drainlayer License
A drainlayer license is required to obtain a permit for the construction, repair, adjustment, rodding or cleaning of any subsurface structure designed to collect or transport storm and/or sanitary waste water (sewer), either on private property or in the public way.
The Department of Buildings, Sewer Permit Section, administers drainlayer licensing and license renewals.
