The Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP) launched the video series, “Behind the Business License,” to provide in-depth conversations between a small business owner, Neighborhood Business Development Center, and Chief Small Business Officer about Chicago’s small business community. The individuals offer their own insight and expertise on business resources available to current and future business owner. Each episode details a real business owner sharing their experiences of working with the City of Chicago and their local business service organization.

New episodes air every other Tuesday on Cable 25 and re-runs occur continuously. Also, episodes can be viewed on the BACP YouTube channel. The first episode aired on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
