City Council Microgrants
The 2022 Budget provided $100,000 in one-time funding for each aldermanic ward (50 wards) to support various community-based programs. Funding will provide short-term support in the form of microgrants to provide assistance with community programming. Microgrants will range from a minimum of $1,000 to a maximum of $50,000 for the period of January 1, 2022, to June 1, 2023.
Eligible activities for the Community Micro Grant Program are:
- Mental Health Services
- Violence Prevention Activities
- Youth Enrichment Activities
- Small Business Assistance
- Legal Support for Immigrants
- Food Security
- Senior Assistance
- Educational and Training
- Health and Wellness
