On December 18, 2019, the City Council enacted amendments that prohibit City elected officials and employees from lobbying on behalf of private clients before any other unit of government in the State of Illinois, and prohibit elected officials from any other unit of government in the State from lobbying on behalf of private clients before the City.  To read these amendments, please see this.  A color-coded copy of all changes to the Ordinance from 2018-2020 is available here.
