Guest curated by Edra Soto and Josue Pellot, Present Standard features 25 contemporary artists with Latino Chicago connections. Their works that play with the manifold meanings and forms suggested by the “standard” – as either a flag or a pennant, a measuring tactic or a guiding principle, or a potent symbol of national identity.

Organizado por las curadoras invitadas Edra Soto y Josué Pellot, Present Standard reúne 25 obras de 25 artistas latinos contemporáneos estadounidenses cuyas obras juegan con los múltiples significados del término "present" – que se puede referir a lo contemporáneo o a la idea de afirmar asistencia, y “standard” – que se puede referir a una bandera o estandarte, una táctica de medición, una regla o principio o a un símbolo de identidad nacional.
