Their works that play with the manifold meanings and forms suggested by the “standard” – as either a flag or a pennant, a measuring tactic or a guiding principle, or a potent symbol of national identity.

Organizado por las curadoras invitadas Edra Soto y Josué Pellot, Present Standard reúne 25 obras de 25 artistas latinos contemporáneos estadounidenses cuyas obras juegan con los múltiples significados del término "present" – que se puede referir a lo contemporáneo o a la idea de afirmar asistencia, y “standard” – que se puede referir a una bandera o estandarte, una táctica de medición, una regla o principio o a un símbolo de identidad nacional.
