All grant recipients must acknowledge DCASE in online and print materials during the grant period relevant to the award received.
Please find our DCASE logo and detailed recognition guidelines below. At a minimum, we ask that you include specific recognition language on all promotional materials and public notices. Note that the language varies for each type of grant. Please use the quotes provided below:
Chicago Presents
“This event is supported by a Chicago Presents grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.”
CityArts - General Operating Funding
“This project is partially supported by a CityArts grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.”
CityArts – Project Funding

Individual Artists Program

Together We Heal Creative Place grant

All marketing and press materials referencing the project, program or event that DCASE grants funds are supporting should credit DCASE and must be reviewed by DCASE prior to release to third parties. Please route all materials to DCASE at dcase@cityofchicago.org at least 48 hours prior to release to the third party.

All grant recipients will be required to complete one or more reports through the online CyberGrants system. The reports will require your organization to provide the City with updates on the accomplishment of activities related to the funded project or, for CityArts grant recipients, the organization’s work, and an accounting of grant funds expended. You will receive a notification email when the report(s) is available for completion in CyberGrants; each email will contain the online website link to each report.
